Cold Weather Cutoff Policy

Policy 5.1
Cold weather cut-off is −20°F ± 5°F.

Alaska weather can change quickly. Coaches and skaters should monitor conditions and use good judgment. Practices may be moved indoors, rescheduled, or canceled when temperatures become unsafe or when warmer weather makes the ice too soft.

Always follow current team communications and rink closure notices before traveling.
